Despite the “ick” factor from some, the ice cream burrito does have its fans. As the Insider video demonstrated, people come from all over to get a taste.
The colorful ice cream wrapped in a soft cotton candy blanket is pretty nice to look at.

But in the end, the real problem with this “burrito” is the name itself. A Twitter user had to ask if ice cream wrapped in cotton candy is even a burrito and people have strong opinions about it.

The philosophical discussion about what truly makes a burrito is quickly cut short as Merriam-Webster defines the word very specifically.
Though that doesn’t mean this cotton candy ice cream mash-up couldn’t be considered burrito-inspired.
The dessert is like the Lisa Frank of food; colorful, cute, and disturbing all at the same time.
